New Soul收錄在Yael Naïm於2007年10月法國巴黎錄製發行的這張的同名專輯中. 這張專輯同時收錄法文, 英文,希伯來文三種語言的歌, 發行後立刻進了法國排行榜.

Yael Naïm , 1978年出生於巴黎, 4歲隨父母搬到以色列, 童年在以色列渡過, 在這學會講希伯來文, 也成為鋼琴手. 因她在十誡"Les Dix Commandements"這齣法國音樂劇演出而開始她的歌唱生涯. 2001年在美國LA錄製她的第一張專輯, In a Man's Womb.

2008年1月蘋果推出超薄筆記型電腦(Apple MacBook Air), 創辦人賈伯斯Steve Jobs挑選這首歌搭配全球上市廣告, New Soul因此立刻登上了美國排行榜前10名, 使得Yael Naïm 瞬間受到全世界矚目.

昨天拍完夢想嘉年華2008 Dream Parade後, 跟譚老師及Elaine找地方坐下來喝個東西聊天時, 讓我想到了這首歌. 我覺得一個好的攝影作品要有靈魂, 要有生命, 才能觸動心靈. 我想這應該是我接下來拍照的方向吧.

還有最近仍舊一直持續忙著整理我個人的東西, 最好能在年底前整理完畢, 希望為我的生活帶來新的生命、新的靈魂, 迎接斬新的2009年.
